1887 Transit Permit To Transport A Dead Body – Issued by the State Of New York
Permit allows the transport of the remains of Hannah C. Carroll, aged 67 who died in Malone, new York (cause of death – Stricture Of Intestine) for burial in Concord New Hampshire.
Permit names the Undertaker (or person in charge of transport) as H. C. Skinner, Malone Town Clerk at Frank Bigelow.
Permit is printed on light paper stock and measures 4 inches X 10-1/2 inches.
