YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY HARD TO FIND, FULLY EMBROIDERED SHOULDER PATCH FROM THE STATE OF ILLINOIS AND THE DUPAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT. THIS IS FROM THE MAJOR CRIMES UNIT (MERIT). I HAVE ONLY SEEN TWO OF THESE PATCHES.
The Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigative Team (MERIT) is a county-wide task force charged with leading investigations into serious crimes, critical incidents and other law enforcement endeavors. Created in 2019, MERIT is a consolidation of law enforcement specialty teams including FIAT, IMAT, DuCART, the DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force and the DuPage County SWAT Team. MERIT consists of ten components, namely, SWAT, Crisis Negotiation Team, Canine Response Unit, Incident Management Assistance Team, Planned Events, Major Crash Reconstruction Team, Major Crimes Unit, Public Integrity Team, Forensics Investigation Unit and Digital Forensics Unit.

**** The US Post Office has been in some kind of funk in that it is taking longer than normal shipping time for items to get to the buyers. I put the date on the bottom left corner of the envelope to show you that I indeed shipped it right away, so please do not mark shipping time as not being on time, it is out of my control and I assure you, it is very frustrating to me. I am sorry that it is taking longer but I have no control over how SAD the Post Office has become. THANK YOU.
Shipping is $ 1.00 in the U.S. and $ 1.75 out of the U.S. as foreign postal rates have increased a lot! The rates for international shipping are higher due to required US Customs forms for multiple items being sent. I am sorry to raise the price but am forced to cover the very high cost for shipping over seas.
